Deputy President Ruto has spoken upon the allegations and the controversy surrounding Jacob Juma for the first time.
Having been linked by Jacob Juma himself and a number of opposition leaders, William Ruto decided to finally break silence on the issue. Speaking in his political backyard in Nandi the DP scoffed at the leaders asking them to stop seeking political mileage from the issue and instead take any evidence they have to the police.

Yesterday, his team had also said that they will look to sue several of the speakers at the requiem mass held in Nairobi notably Cyrus Jirongo for what they termed as falsehood remarks aimed to tarnish the reputation of the DP.
Here are a couple of the DP’s remarks in Nandi.
“Whoever has information on the killing of businessman Jacob Juma should take it to the police and not his funeral,”
“There is no difference between those who commit crime and those who make wild allegations without assisting the police.”
In his earlier tweetss last year, Jacob Juma had said he would no want the DP to attend his funeral as he did not lead hypcritical life and thus even in death he would want to mainatin that. It is thus understandable why seniro governement memebrs have kept silent on the issue.
